Sheet metal stamping process introduction:
1. Blanking
A general term for a stamping process that extracts material. It
includes blanking, punching, punching, grooving, sectioning, chisel
cutting, edge pressing, cutting, etc.
2. Appearance design
It is mainly to cut off the excess part of the material and to
ensure the stamping process that meets the requirements of the
specification and model.
3. Cut the tongue
A certain part of the material is cut into a hole, but not all of
it is cut. It is common that only three sides of the rectangle are
cut and one side is left untouched. The main function is to set the
step distance.
4. Flaring
This process is not widespread, and it is common to see the process
of expanding the end or a certain end of the tubular part into a
trumpet shape.
5. Narrowing
Contrary to flaring, it is a stamping process in which the end or a
point of a tubular part must be narrowed inward.
6. Punching
In order to better obtain the hollow part of the part, the
corresponding hole size is obtained by separating the material
through the punch and the knife edge in the middle of the complete
material.
7. High-precision stamping
When the stamping part needs to have a full bright band, it can be
called "fine blanking" (Note: the ordinary punching section is
divided into four parts: slump band, bright band, fracture band,
and burr area).
8. Full bright blanking
Unlike high-precision punching, full-bright punching can be
obtained in one-step punching as much as possible.
9. Deep hole punching
When the diameter of the product is smaller than the thickness of
the material, it can be mastered as deep hole punching, and its
punching difficulty is embodied in that the insertion needle is
very easy to break.
10. Convex hull
The process of making a protrusion on the flat material and having
relative application requirements.
11. Forming
Many friends master the forming of sheet metal bending, which is
not careful and serious. Because sheet metal bending is a type of
forming, forming refers to a general term for all fluid material
processes.
12. Sheet metal bending
A basic process for obtaining relative angles and patterns after
brittle fracture of flat materials according to convex and concave
die inserts.
13. Compression bars
This is generally used in sheet metal bending forming inserts of
inclined angle sheet metal parts, mainly based on a structure in
which the material at the bending position of the sheet metal part
is made of convex pits to reduce the resilience of the material and
ensure a stable angle.
14. Embossing
A process in which a distinctive design pattern is pressed into the
surface of the material according to the needle, which widely
includes: embossing, small black dots, etc.
15. Roll
One of the molding manufacturing processes is the process of
stacking the product shape design into a ring.
16. Flip hole
The process of warping the thread of the stamping part to obtain a
certain height of the side.
17. Straightening
It is mainly aimed at the situation where the product flatness is
required to be high. When the flatness error of the stamping part
occurs due to the stress field, the straightening process must be
used for adjustment.
18. Integer
After the product is formed, when the angle and shape are not the
basic specifications, it is necessary to fully consider adding a
step to adjust to ensure the stability of the angle. This type of
process is called "shaping".
19. Stretching
Generally, the whole process of obtaining hollow parts from flat
materials according to the method is called the stretching process,
which is mainly carried out according to the convex and concave
molds.
20. Stretching
It generally refers to a drawing process in which the material in
the same position is drawn multiple times according to one or four
molds in a material belt.
21. Loosening and deep drawing
Continuous drawing and deep drawing belong to the loose drawing
series, which means that the wall thickness of the parts after the
drawing will be smaller than the thickness of the material itself.
22. Stretching
The basic concept is similar to the convex hull, which is to make
the material convex. However, deep drawing generally refers to
small car parts, which belong to a series of relatively complex
forming products, and its deep drawing structure is relatively
complex.
23. Construction project model
In a set of molds, there is only one type of stamping process in
the whole process of stamping.
24. Composite mold
In a set of molds, the whole stamping process can carry out two or
more kinds of different stamping processes.
25. Stamping die shell
A set of molds is fed by a material belt, and two or more processes
are arranged in sequence, and they are fed in sequence with the
stamping process to finally reach the mold type of qualified
products.
